Sarah I have the pleasure of doing Katies hair on her wedding day, how lucky am I!
Katie became one of my (flair4Hair) brides going back a while ago now and has watched & supported BDB grow with loads of helpful advice, couldn't have done a lot with out her & I don't mind saying that publically at all
Hence why she is my forum moderator :face: :face: :face:
Oh and i'm dying for Nov 6th!!!!

My god, you have NO idea! (although I'm sure you do.. hehe )

We are getting into stress mode about the reception venue now though, we are very seriously thinking of our back up options as the venue owners still don't know if they are coming or going or even if their planned renovations (which were supposed to start in early May and have not yet commenced!) will be finished by November!

It's looking like a tent in the parents back yard at the moment... bring a plate everyone!

Thanks so much guys. I'm going to start looking at marquees and pricing and stuff. We need one to seat 65 (incl bridal table) and have a dance floor. There seem to be some hire places that can do the whole lot.

We then have to try and find a caterer who is free that can do the food and also do the dishes afterwards!

We have basically given our current venue till the end of June to work out what they are doing. We need to get the invitations printed so, if they don't know who is going to own the place and when the reno's will be finished by then, we are just going to have to go with the marquee option.

it's a pain though as people have already booked accommodation in McLaren Vale, and Mum and dad live about 15 minutes drive away from there, and I don't want people having to drive.

It's good that you have given the venue a dead line so that you have time to get your invitations ready and other arrangements if needed.

Welcome! There are some fabulous places in and around the fleurieu peninsula.... just make sure when you book, book as early as possible. We struggled to find anywhere available and have ended up having to make quite a few compromises...
