Hi all,
I'm getting Married in march next year in a garden on the River at Wellington (beautiful) and am pretty darn organised! Only thing I am having real trouble with is deciding on table centerpieces. I have gone through tonnes of magazines, searched online etc etc... I just find that there is too much to pick from and cant make up my mind. I am having an outdoor reception with large umbrellas and a lot of paper lanterns hanging around the place. Any ideas? Our colours are white and aqua, (and maybe a bit of silver to tie in with both).
Thanks
Cherie

Hi Cherie,

How about small bowls with glass beads of ur chosen colour on the bottom and have it filled with water and have some floating candles in it too.

Or you could get mirrors and place tea light candles ontop all the way down the middle or placed stragetically.. Smile

Good Luck

Hi again,

was just thinking of another idea for you.

small glass bowls with m&ms or some other candy if you can find it in your colour theme for the table and have little bags as thankyous & the Centerpiece's, its what i am actually thinking of doing myself when we re-pick our date.

Good Luck again Smile

Some excellent ideas! I love the ideas of bowls full of M&Ms.. very different. What also looks really nice are flowers submerged in water... You just take a couple of stems of your flowers and sit them in a vase, weight them down with little stones or something and then fill the vase with water.

It looks really lovely... good luck!!!

Thanks guys. I have seen lots of pics of the flowers submerged in water but heard that they get water logged and go all limp...? I am thinking of just having square vases with glass beads, filled with water and a flower arrangement, then small votive candles around it ...simple but effective, but i'll change my mind again 100 times I'm sure!

It's frightening how quickly it goes.... I remember when I had 12 months to and it felt like yesterday.... I'm standing here with only 3 and a half months, and plans are ramping up... I'm getting so excited!!
