Random Chat Thread

Force of habit I guess. A few of the forums I run and are involved with have a chat thread (some don't).

Basically it's a place where people can chat (randomly) just as the title suggests LOL.

So I'll start off...

What's everyone up to for the long weekend?

I spent all day shopping for computer bits with my mother who has no idea how to even turn a computer on! Got a great deal though - she got a free Xbox and a free TV in the bundle!!!

So today I'm concentrating on my own stuff (some time for me) and getting a few things done that I'm anxious to finish off. Tomorrow.... Haven't thought that far yet.

So yeh, just generally a potter around quiet weekend (we went away to see Nitro Circus last weekend - which was AWESOME).

I spent the weekend at our shack on the beach north of wallaroo. We spent the weekend fishing and just relaxing. It was my puppy's birthday today so I made him bacon and eggs for breakfast!! He was so cute eating eggs and toast and bits of bacon!

We got home this afternoon and my horses haven't been ridden for a few days so were a bit feral so gave them all a major work out to get them straightened out!

We have just got inside and are about to have some leftover KFC for dinner!!

Hi Ladies
I've had a lovely weekend!
Did a wedding Saturday and spend the rest of the arvo at Marion shopping centre (didn't buy anything but had fun)
Sunday we went on the Morphett Vale mini trains which was a load of fun & the first time for the twins that they could remember.
I met with a lovely new bride client and talked about her wedding later that day. She was down from Tasmania for the weekend and won't be back down again until after Christmas, two months before her wedding.
Today we had the inlaws over for morning tea (I made scones with jam & cream, yum)
Then this arvo was spent organizing tax stuff, never fun!
But all in all a great weekend!

Sounds like you guys had a good weekend.

I've been busy getting stuff organised for my new consultants just starting out, helping my mummy buy a computer and getting it set up for her, and generally just doing way too much work for a long weekend!

My Riley is a Caramel coloured Border Collie - We also have a black and white border collie, a black and tan kelpie and a red kelpie.

Sorry bout the size... haven't worked out how to make the pictures smaller!!! This was us up at swan reach in February.. He LOVES water... he always swims up to the boat when we go fishing or skiing..!

ohhhhhh I haven't seen too many caramel collies, he's so cute!!!

He is just gorgeous... I love him to death! He is so sweet natured.. not an agressive bone in his body... he does have the odd blonde moment from time to time tho!

just got a wind warning on my pager for our area for tomorrow (I'm a member of the SES). 55-65km/hr gusting up to 100/110km/hr so it will be COLD and WINDY! URGH!

What are everyones plans for the weekend?

I am sorting tax receipts and info...YUK!!! Hate tax time with a passion!

Other than that probably cleaning up around the house and might get to the shops at some stage, will see how I go

For once I actually don't have much on! So will be riding horses mostly... and my is getting a b.a.t.h!!!

We got our invitations this week!!! YAY!!!! they look awesome! We got Michelle from Invites and Things to do the front part of the invite on natural cotton paper with a beautiful leaf on the front. We are going to print the insert with the writing ourselves on a vellum type paper.. Can't believe just over 4 and a half months!!! We are having the envelopes printed on the same natural paper - Michelle is going to do that for us as well!

Hopefully Dave will FINALLY get the guys organised for their suit fittings and apply for his passport..... miracles have been known to happen...

I'm sure it will be nice to relax and do some non wedding related things

Your invites sound lovely, I love the natural paper look myself just feels so earthy and rustic.

I have some exciting news Hubby & I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary this Sunday

I can't believe it's been 18 years - it certainly doesn't feel like it and is really quite scary when I think about how fast the time has gone

Will let you know what the go is once I find out - I have no idea as hubby is keeping it a secret
