| Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself...36..live in the Barossa...I am marrying a farmer....have recently left my job of child care to work on the farm - has been interesting so far! I am getting married in October of this year...and am starting to get very excited and nervous all at the same time. I have been with my finacee for just over 3 years, and we have been engaged for just over a year. I'm sure I will know others here already...so can't wait to get yakkin! | |

| Hi Greysi, yes, I do love my boys, all 3 of them! Just waiting for the little bit of rain to clear before I head out for the afternoon and do some work with them! | Yay Hi Greysi so glad you joined our forum love your avtar haha...Puss doesn't look too impressed Looks like this thread should be called the farmyard with you & Katie, so nice to have something in common though. I would love to live on a farm and for a while we looked for a property with a bit of land. At one stage we looked at sub dividing hubbys parents land in Kangarilla but our application got rejected so they sold it as a whole in the end and we never got to keep it in the family. It had been part of their heritage for four generations so very sad to see it go Anyway, can't wait to hear all about your plans! Welcome to the forum & hope you enjoy your stay | |

| Thanks Jeanette!! Forum is ace...just went and put some of my show and tell up! Hehe...yeh it seems me and Katie are a couple of country girls! It's so sad that the sub diving application didn't get approved! I don't think I would live anywhere else...I was born in the barossa, but then lived in Adelaide for 25 odd years...but am glad to be back here. Thank you for the welcome...look forward to sharing more with you guys and helping the other brides | |

| Yeah, that is a huge bummer J.. It would be devastating, especially with the land being in the family for so long.. No ripped rugs here thankfully Greysi, although, my boys have pretty heavy duty canvases on so if they managed to rip those I'd be surprised! Got out for a good hour on my little stock horse this afternoon. He's a bit green so is still learning, but we are getting there | |
