Hey everyone,

My name is Gianna from South Australia. My fiance' Chris have been a couple for almost 10 years, been engaged for most of that time and now we've decided to make it official; we're getting married on 23rd November 2013.

We decided to get married in June this year, it felt fantastic to finally be able to say; yes we've set a date. I've really enjoyed being a couple but it's definitely time.

A couple months has passed, the wedding plans are coming a long nicely. It's going to be such a beautiful day, we can't wait. So far we've booked our Ceremony/Reception venue, it will be the same place; Amaroo Water Gardens. Booked the cake, the photographer, almost booked the hire items we need for the ceremony and the Celebrant is sorted (Chris's Aunt is a Pastor). I'm waiting until next year to get my wedding dress, Bridesmaids dresses and Chris's and Grooms Suits. Now we just got to work out the smaller but still important details like; fine tuning the guest list, making invitations (we want to make our own so we are), finding the perfect song for our first dance and so many more things.

Last week, Chris was accepted into a university in Melbourne to study Bachelor Degree in Game Design. I'm sooo proud of him for having the courage to chase his dream. The wedding is still being planned and will go ahead, the only thing is now; we'll be living in Melbourne but planning a wedding in Adelaide. Not sure how we'll do this but the help of mother in law and my fantastic bridesmaids we'll be okay.

I feel this forum will and can help me answer those nagging wedding related questions floating around in my head. Thank you for reading our story.
